Renovation of a residential development in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

General Contractors that are licensed, insured, and in good standing with the County are eligible to bid on the attached scope; partial competitive bids for specialty items limited to roofing and septic/sewer services will also be accepted. SCOPE OF WORK The rehabilitation of this owner-occupied, single-family, residence is to make the home safer, more energy efficient, and easier to access within the provisions of federal, state, and county laws and ordinances and the SHIP repair program. The rehabilitation of this home will include the following tasks as outlined below and the repaired areas are to match as close as possible to their existing surroundings. If additional tasks beyond those included in this scope are discovered, then additional funds may be allocated. Before any additional work is performed, written county approval will be needed. There is no federal funding for this project. 1.WINDOWS: Replace the existing windows with new single-hung vinyl impact windows as per the Escambia County Building Code. These units are to be complete with trims, screens, and low-e glass. Repair any windowsill or buck that is rotten or damaged. Remove the bathroom window and close off. Windows Total $_____________ 2.PLUMBING: Remove the existing tub and shower walls from the bathroom. Replace it with a paneled shower unit with reinforced grab bars. Repair surrounding areas and replace the tub/shower faucet with a new shower set. Replace any old piping and fittings with new, install new supply lines, install all new drain assemblies from fixtures to their respective drains where needed. All work is to be completed as per the Escambia County Building Code. Plumbing Total $_____________ 3.ELECTRICAL: Re-wire as needed or required to conform to the national electrical code as per the Escambia County Building Code. This may require additional switches and outlets to be added if the existing space does not meet code requirements. A new meter base/power pack and riser may be required. A new breaker panel may also be required. Install disconnects at equipment and appliances. All smoke detectors shall be hardwired with battery back-up. All receptacles, switches and cover plates shall be new devices. All existing and new appliances will have new pigtails installed to match new receptacles. All fixtures shall be LED or have led light bulbs installed. Repair drywall damage from rewiring and paint to match as close as possible. Blocking for ceiling fans will be required and a separate switch is required to operate the fan and light kit at all locations where are fans installed. Install a new doorbell at entry. Install a new exhaust vent in the bathroom. Electrical Total $_______________ 4.MECHANICAL: Replace the return air grill and registers. The grill is to be a removable filter type with a new filter installed. Repair any damaged or faulty workmanship in the HVAC closet. Mechanical Total $______________ 5.CABINETRY: Replace the existing kitchen base cabinets, countertops, sink and faucet with new. The cabinets are to be white, and the countertop is to be a square-edge laminate top, including side and back splashes to match the existing configuration. Include braided supply lines and new waste lines as well as new shut off valves as per the Escambia County Building Code. Cabinetry Total $______________ 6.FLOORING: Remove existing flooring in the bathroom and the three bedrooms. Prep floors and install new LVP floor per manufacturer's instruction, include a moisture barrier as needed. Pattern and color are to be determined by the homeowner. Include matching transitions strips where needed, any missing base molding and install new shoe molding. Then caulk and paint the trim. Flooring Total $_______________ 7.INTERIOR TRIM: Repair the damaged or missing interior doors and trim. Caulk and paint to match as close as possible.
