Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Valdez, Alaska. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
Remove the existing 4,000-gallon underground storage tank and install a 3,000-gallon above ground storage tank at Marine Safety Unit. Remove the existing fuel oil boiler, piping, and storage tank and install an electric boiler at Cutter Support Building. Optional bid items 1 and 2 are to properly dispose of contaminated soil and to install a canopy over the tank at the MSU respectively. The work includes the following: Work for this construction project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and materials reqired for accomplish the work. Work includes excavation, backfill, removal of equipemtn above ground and undergroud, all required permits, all regulatory requirements, demolistion of components,connection to existing equipment, install of new equipment, modifications to system for new work, and protection of existing.
