1.1 Scope: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished, to perform Megadoor Repair Services, as defined in this PWS. 1.1.1 Objectives: Repair and Replace Megadoor systems components in Building 3428 (Diamond Head side) at the Hawaii Air National Guard Campus, JBPHH, Hickam AFB, HI 96853. 1.2 Background: Perform complete repair of Building 3428 Diamond Head Megadoor systems (83434) to include the replacement of four (4) rusted mullion chains, the upgrade of two (2) man door switches, the replacement of six (6) control panel stop buttons, and the replacement of one (1) phase monitor. The Megadoor system on the west side of B3428 is malfunctioning and needs repair. The Contractor shall field verify all dimensions, materials required, and locations prior to bidding. The Contractor shall assess the Megadoor system and submit an assessment report advising of any discrepancies not included in this PWS. The Contractor shall repair the Megadoor systems; thus, as a minimum, the Contractor shall safely ensure the Megadoor system is properly de-energized and lock-out/tag-out while performing repairs and adequately dispose of replaced parts/materials. Also, the Contractor shall replace four (4) rusted mullion chains, upgrade two (2) man door switches, replace six (6) control panel stop buttons, and replace one (1) phase monitor. JBPHH, HI 96853-5517 Perform complete repair of Building 3428 Diamond Head Megadoor systems (83434) to include the replacement of four (4) rusted mullion chains, the upgrade of tw o (2) man door sw itches, the replacement of six (6) control panel stop buttons, and the replacement of one (1) phase monitor. Once the Megadoor system is deemed repaired, the Contractor shall conduct an operational test to confirm the Megadoor system's operation, as it relates to the specific repair being completed, is w orking as designed. Magnitude of Project: Betw een $100,000 - $250,000 The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 236220 and the size standard for small business is $45M average annual revenue for the past three years. The Government anticipates funds w ill become available prior to aw ard as this action has been identified on the National Guard priority list. No contract aw ard w ill be made until appropriated funds are made available. A bid bond w ill be required for offers that are estimated at $150,000 or greater. See FAR Provision 52.228-1 for details. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to address questions received after the fifth day prior to solicitation closing with those offers deemed compliant and/or in the competitive range after closing.
