Sealed Bids for turnkey modernization of the elevator at the Marshall County Courthouse located at 200 West Main Street, Albertville, Alabama. The scope of work is the turnkey modernization of the existing elevator in the Marshall County Courthouse in Albertville, Alabama. Work is to be completed within 90 calendar days. Bids must be submitted on bid forms furnished by the Owner. All bidders must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the owner; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the envelope in which the bid is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of thirty (30) days. Each bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check drawn on an Alabama bank in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid not to exceed $10,000.00 or an acceptable Bid Bond in the same amount made payable to the "MARSHALL COUNTY COMMISSION". A Performance Bond (100%) and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond (100%) are a Contract requirement. Each bidder is required to submitwith the bid a certificate of EVerify and a certificate of insurance.
