Summary:The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to hire two (2) contractors, a primary and secondary, to furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, permits and fees required to mow grass and cleanup designated properties within the City on an as needed basis for the Department of Planning and Community Development due to violations of Section 34-110(b) and Section 34-109 (a) of the City of Suffolk and/or the Uniform Statewide Building Code. Other cutting/cleanup requirements maybe subject to competitive procedures. Work shall be in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions herein. Secondary contractor will be notified to perform work if primary contractor is not available. The Senior Buyer, Amy Gardner, is the Contract Officer for the City of Suffolk with respect to this IFB. All questions concerning bid must be in writing and received five (5) business days prior to the bid opening.
