Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Clermont, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,951-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
General Contractors are invited to submit on the Bid Form Attachments for a General Contract for construction of the New Town Hall for the Town of Clermont in Clermont, Georgia. The facility will be a new 2,951 SF, one story building. Work will include all site work and construction of the new facility. 5% Bid Bond, in the form of AIA Document A310, will be required with each bid. 100% Performance and Payment Bond, in the form of AIA Document A311, as well as other required submittals, shall be submitted upon execution of the Contract within ten (10) days of notification of award by the Owner. The Agreement will be AIA Document A101. Bidding shall be in accordance with AIA Document A701 "Instructions to Bidders" 2017 Edition, and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders prepared by the Architect and included in these bidding requirements. The Town of Clermont reserves the right to award a contract based on the invited General Contractor's previous experience, past performance, organizational capability, construction time and their total cost for construction. Therefore, the Owner may or may not award a contract to the lowest responsible Bidder.
