Renovation of a mixed-use development in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and municipal facility.
A. Demolition of concrete, and removal of brick and stone surrounding current grease trap within 2-4 feet in every direction of the trap, as well as exposing the pipes connected to the trap that extend from the kitchen/building to the trap, and the pipes that lead from courtyard to George Street. B. Pump the old trap prior to removal; Remove and properly dispose of old trap. C. Run pipe to the kitchen on the inlet side, and from the outlet side near the sidewalk of George St. D. Installation of new 1,000-gallon concrete interceptor and associated plumbing with new pipes. E. Installation of new gravity line installation from building to new trap and new trap to street. Deadline to Submit Written Questions September 19, 2024, at 9:00 AM OBJECTIVE: The College of Charleston is seeking bids for a contractor to replace an obsolete grease trap interceptor and associated pipes that are currently located in the Craig Catering kitchen and courtyard, to reestablish catering operations in December 2024. Location: Craig Catering Kitchen and adjacent courtyard; 67 George Street, Charleston, South Carolina 29424 Craig Catering Grease Trap Removal & Installation.
