The Project consists of point repairs of damaged asphalt roadway and the overlay of all streets within the Huntington Pointe Subdivision. Work will include traffic control, saw-cutting around the perimeter of all damaged areas, removal and disposal of damaged asphalt and roadway base materials, placement of CTB road base, asphalt binder in these repaired areas, milling of along all gutter lines, and placement of asphalt surfacing of all roadways. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Title 62,Chapter 6, of the Tennessee Code Annotated. The bidder's name, license number, and expiration date must appear on the envelope containing the bid. Certification by Each Bidder Must Be Made With Respect to Nondiscrimination in Employment. Failure to Execute and Submit Such Certificate With the Bid Shall Cause the Bid to Be Rejected as Non-conforming. The Town of Rossville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bidding. Any alternative or qualifications other than those set out, or specifically requested, will be considered informalities. No bidders may withdraw an opened bid within the defined period following actual bid opening without Owner's consent. Bids accepted and read will remain effective for a period of 60 days after the date for the opening of such bid. Award of contracts will be made based on the lowest and best bids as determined by the Town of Rossville.
