Renovation of a mixed-use development in Blue Springs, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and municipal facility.

The City of Blue Springs is seeking a contractor to provide and install specified water softeners at the following City facilities: Carson Ross Community Recreation Complex, Vesper Hall, Public Works, City Hall and Public Safety. Completion of the Work: All work covered by the contract documents shall be completed on an agreed upon date with the awarded contractor with a target date of not before November 5, 2024 to begin work and completed prior to April 1, 2025. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of proposals, shall be directed to the Derek Mayden, Parks Superintendent. It shall be understood, however, that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any "or equal" products be considered for approval prior to award of contract. Contractor Selection: The selected contractor will furnish and install specified water softeners at selected City-owned buildings. Owner's Rights Reserved: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make award in the interest of the Owner. Obtaining RFP Documents and Plans: All documents and plans associated with this Request for Proposals are included within this document. Any additional revisions will be made through addendums issued on the City of Blue Springs website at online. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install water softeners at identified City buildings. Water Softeners shall be connected to existing water piping just after the backflow device at each facility. Water softeners will then be connected to water main. Locations will be identified at the mandatory pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, September 10 at 10am. The attached plumbing drawings shall serve as a reference of existing plumbing in each building. The Watts One Flow Anti Scale system is the water softener being specified for this contract. Information regarding the Watts One Flow Anti-Scale system is attached. Interested contractors may bid alternative products but must specify what is being bid. The specifications for that product should be included with the bid submittal and must meet or exceed the specifications of the Watts One Flow Anti-Scale system
