Renovation of a mixed-use development in Grand Ledge, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of the replacement of the existing addressable fire alarm system and upgrade to a voice evacuation system. New wiring will be installed for all audible notification devices. All bidders are required to furnish Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Base Bid. Form of the security may be a bid bond, certified or cashiers' check made payable to GRAND LEDGE PUBLIC SCHOOLS. This will be a guarantee that the bidder selected by Owner will furnish the required PLM Bonds; failure to do so could mean forfeiture of the Bid Security. All bidders must indicate the cost of Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds covering 100% of the value of the Project. Do not include the cost of the Bonds in the Base Bid. The District reserves the right to reject Bids submitted without a signed Bid Signature Page. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole, or in part, and accept any Bid or portion of the Bid that, in their opinion, best serves the interests of the District.
