The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive sealed Bids to furnish Lawn Maintenance for the County of Volusia, Florida. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids to furnish lawn maintenance for the County of Volusia. It is the intent of the County to award this agreement by zones, as detailed in the pricing section 6.0 . Bidders are not required to bid on both zones. Bidders are required to bid on all sites within the specific zone(s) for which they are submitting a bid. Vendors will only be awarded a maximum of both zones. In the event that a bidder is the lowest on both zones and already mows one zone currently ( 23-B-169HO solicitation) for the County of Volusia the bidder will select the zone they would like to service. If you already service two zones from the 23-B-169HO solicitation you will not be awarded a zone from this solicitation. For the purposes of this ITB, any scope of work listed for specific sites supersedes the common scope of work in the case of a conflict. Contractors are reminded that all Bids submitted shall be in accordance with scope of work as detailed in this ITB and any resulting addenda. Oral representations from any site visit shall not be binding on the County if not confirmed in writing. Maps for each site will be provided. The delineated areas are indicative of area to be mowed. Awarded vendor shall verify area to be mowed with the County Project Manager and the respective Site Inspector for each site. Pursuant toward that end, the successful Respondent shall be awarded an Agreement for an initial initial contract until 12/31/2027 term with the option for two (2) subsequent one (1) year renewals. All renewals will be contingent upon mutual written agreement and, when applicable, approval of County Council. Due to the nature of the services to be provided and the potential impact to the County for loss, the awarded Respondent cannot disclaim consequential or special damages related to the performance of this Agreement. The awarded Respondent shall be responsible and accountable for any and all damages, directly or indirectly, caused by the actions or inaction of its employees, staff, or Subcontractors. There are no limitations to this liability. The County of Volusia reserves the right to reject offers containing terms or conditions contradictory to those requested in this Solicitation.
