Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Cambridge, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work under this improvement consists of everything necessary to complete the project as shown by the plans and specifications for said items on file in the office of the County Engineer, 62782 Bennett Avenue, Cambridge, Ohio 43725. The following forms must be completed and submitted as the bid package: BF1-1A Proposal Bond, BF2 Experience Statement, BF3 Time of Completion, BF4 Personal Property Tax Affidavit, and BF5/5A Proposal Forms. Ohio Wage Rates apply to this state funded project. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in an amount equal to 5% of total bid tendered, and made payable to the Guernsey County Commissioners, as a guarantee that, if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into in accordance therewith, and the check of successful bidder will be returned upon proper execution of contract with successful bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid, Certificate of Insurance, Workers Compensation Certificate. ONLY ODOT PRE-QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS ARE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT BIDS FOR THIS PROJECT. The Engineer's estimate is $722,905. The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any and all bids.
