The Work Under This Improvement Consists of Everything Necessary to Complete the Project as Shown by the Plans and Specifications for Said Items on File in the Office of the County Engineer, 62782 Bennett Avenue, Cambridge, Ohio 43725. Each Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bid Bond in an Amount Equal to 5% of Total Bid Tendered, and Made Payable to the Guernsey County Commissioners, as a Guarantee That, if the Proposal is Accepted, a Contract Will Be Entered Into in Accordance Therewith, and the Check of Successful Bidder Will Be Returned Upon Proper Execution of Contract With Successful Bidder. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Total Bid, Certificate of Insurance, Workers Compensation Certificate. The Engineer's Estimate for Sr 313 Waterline Project Senecaville Waterline Replacement is $1,010,000.00 SR 313 Waterline-Senecaville Waterline Replacement-Contract B LOCATION: The proposed work is located along Clay Pike Rd (SR 313) from Singleton Rd to Salem Rd, Richland Township, Guernsey County, OH. WATER WORKS: The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment that shall be required for the installation of an 10" waterline located along Clay Pike Rd (SR 313) as shown on the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for all traffic control in accordance with the Uniform Manual of Traffic Control Devices. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in section 153.011 of the Revised Code apply to this project. Copies of section 153.011 of the Revised Code can be obtrained from any of the offices of the Department of Administrative Services. The project details are outlined on the following sheets: Plans, Supplemental Specifications,General Provisions, Proposal, and Bid Sheet. The Standard Construction and Materials Specifications for the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation, current edition, including all changes and Supplemental Specifications referenced in the Bid Document shall govern this Contract. GENERAL PROVISIONS 1. 2. The contract will be awarded to the Contractor who submits the lowest and best bid for the project. Each Contractor shall submit proof with their bid that they can comply with these specifications. The county reserves the right to add or delete from the estimated quantities. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in an amount equal to 5% of total bid tendered, and made payable to the Guernsey County Commissioners as a guarantee that, if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into an accordance therewith, and the check of successful bidder will be returned upon proper execution of contract with successful bidder. 3. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of his total bid, Certificate of Insurance, Workers Compensation Certificate. 4. Traffic control will be provided by the Contractor in compliance with the OMUTCD. 5. Work shall commence any time after execution of the construction contract with a completion date on or before December 5,2025. 6. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids
