Vannoy Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk by Ashe County Schools and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade and specialty contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the Ashe County Middle School project in West Jefferson, North Carolina. Scope of work includes the new construction of a new +/-152,000 sf middle school for Ashe County. GMP#3 includes landscaping, concrete, masonry, steel, general trades, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, roofing, fiber cement siding, applied fireproofing, caulking/waterproofing/joints sealants, doors/frames/hardware, glass/glazing/storefront, overhead coiling doors, metal framing/drywall/insulation/ceiling assemblies, hard and soft flooring, terrazzo, wood sports flooring, painting/wall coverings, acoustical treatments, division 10 accessories, signage, lockers, marker & display boards, loading dock equipment, laundry equipment, food service equipment, laboratory equipment, athletic equipment, media center furnishings, bleachers, elevators, fire sprinkler, plumbing, HVAC, & electrical. This project is NOT seeking LEED certification. Additional Packages may be added and/or deleted at the discretion of the Construction Manager. Historically underutilized business participation is encouraged. Only pre-qualified contractors will receive bidding documents and be allowed the opportunity to bid on this project.
