Site work for a water / sewer project in Freedom, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For the installation 343 linear of 15-inch perforated pipe, 2 headwalls, construct 110 linear feet of a drainage swale using R-3 rip-rap, remove 1 existing inlet, install 3 new inlets, and Place 2A modified stone including grading and appurtenances. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The form of the guaranty shall be in accordance with the type permitted under the contract documents. No bid guaranty shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with the requirements as set forth in the contract documents or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. All potential bidders are encouraged to attend the meeting. Work under this Contract is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (1961 August 15, PL 987; P.S. 166) and subsequent amendments. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
