Renovation of an educational facility in New Britain, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Charter Oak State College and CT State Community College share a recently renovated headquarters in downtown New Britain, Connecticut. Both institutions seek to install exterior signage on the building's unbranded exterior. The services required include a beginning-to-end solution, including the fabrication and installation of various types, sizes, and locations of signs. The graphic design expectation is shown in Appendix A, with all three signs backlit by LED lighting. The wall plaque next to the main door may be backlit or spot/wash lighted by LED lighting. Contractor is additionally responsible for all electrical work with pre-existing electrical supply details being made available during the mandatory walkthrough. The attached preliminary design is intended to give the successful contractor an idea of the work expected. The College invites bidders to include multiple design proposals at the same price. Within these limitations, the Contractor is responsible for fabricating the entire system and making necessary modifications and additions to the details. During the work period, the successful contractor will submit final design plans to the College for preapproval before fabrication and installation. 9/13/2024 - 10/11/2024 Open for Q&A The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
