All responses submitted are to be in sealed envelopes and plainly marked "Cemetery". The Village Council for the Village of Lakeview reserves the right to reject all or any bids or to waive formalities, and to award the contract in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of the Village. General Conditions Village of Lakeview Lakeview, MI The contractor is responsible to provide all equipment, material, and labor for mowing and weed control at Village of Lakeview owned and managed property at Lakeview Cemetery. Regular mowing services shall begin the week of Friday May 02, 2025 and shall continue weekly for 19 weeks. An additional/optional 4 mows may be scheduled between The Contractor and the Lakeview Public Works Supervisor if necessary. It is anticipated that the 4 mowing's will be scheduled in late April, early May, and late September. Weed control shall include trimming of around all trees, monuments, headstones, and other structures on the property. Debris and grass clippings shall be blown from all headstone, monuments, and drives. This project is being funded entirely by Village Funds. Location: The Lakeview Cemetery located at 500 North St. Award of Bid: The successful bidder will be notified of the acceptance of the bid by the Village Manager and offered a contract to sign. Right to Reject Bid: The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive or conditional bids. On unit price bids, bidders shall show the unit price for each item listed, total price for quantity of each item and total price for all items. If the Village finds any errors in the bidder's computations, the Village reserves the right to make corrections.
