T1/T2 Service Animal Relief Area (SARA) Written Questions Due via Email: October 4, 2024 by 4 p.m. Response to Questions Posted as an Addendum (Estimated): October 14, 2024. All questions concerning the Plans and Specifications during the bidding period must be emailed to the attention of Jaymes Carter, Vice President, Buildings & Building Systems at jaymes.carter@rdu.com. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to but not less than 5% of the proposal or a bid bond of 5% of the bid executed as set forth in the Instruction to Bidders by a surety company licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds. The deposits shall be made payable to the Owner and shall be retained by the Owner as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails to properly execute the contract within ten (10) days after the award and to give satisfactory surety as required by law. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds will be required for 100% of the Contract Sum. The Owner reserves the right to retain all bids for a period of 90 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. No bid may be withdrawn by a bidder within 90 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Package marked BidT1/T2 Service Animal Relief Area (SARA)
