West Deer Township is requesting bids for Residential Solid Waste Collection & Disposal and Recyclable Material Collection & Delivery. Sealed bids are invited and will be received by West Deer Township for collection and disposal of solid waste and collection and delivery of recyclable materials for a three (3) year term beginning 1 January 2025 and ending 31 December 2027, unless otherwise stipulated. Bids must be made on the bid forms and in accordance with instructions to bidders furnished by West Deer Township. Failure to do so will disqualify the bid unless such failure is deemed to be waivable by the Township in the Township's sole discretion. The defined terms appearing in the General Specifications apply to all Contract Documents. A bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or postal money order, drawn to the order of West Deer Township, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the first-year bid total must accompany the bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. West Deer Township invites all garbage and rubbish contractors that are capable of providing the necessary equipment, personnel, and service as described in the following specifications to bid on this contract.
