Concrete post-tension structure, with Masonry and Cast Stone Exterior. Roof is comprised of pitched Metal roof and flat membrane roofing. The University of Oklahoma, hereinafter referred to as Owner and Flintco-Weitz, hereinafter called the Construction Manager, will receive SEALED bids to provide the work included in the OU-First Year Housing Phase 1 located in Norman, Oklahoma. All bids are to be sealed and CLEARLY labeled by describing the project and indicating the package being bid, on the envelope as described in the Instructions to Bidders. A Bid Security, as stipulated in the bid documents, in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder if the amount of the bid exceeds $50,000. Bids received more than ninety six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, before time set for opening bids, as well as bids received after time set for opening bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. All Bidders for this project are required to meet all qualification requirements as established in these bid documents. Upon receipt of an acceptable bid, the contract will be awarded within thirty (30) days after opening bids and the written contract executed within sixty (60) days thereafter. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
