Renovation of a residential development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Window Replacement at 1706, 1708, 1714, 1716,1718, 1726 & 1728 Race St. The Construction Time is 135 calendar days after receiving the "Notice to Proceed" The contractor shall hold the price for 60 days after Bid Due Date. This project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended. Preference may be given in accordance with 24 CFR 135 and the CMHA procurement policy. The Prevailing Wages shall be paid for a legal day's work to laborers, workmen or mechanics engaged in work under this Contract, at the site of the Project, in the trade or occupation listed. The Authority reserves the right to reject and not consider any proposal that does not meet the requirements of this BID, including but not necessarily limited to incomplete proposals and/or proposals offering alternate or non-requested services, proposals deemed non-responsive, respondents deemed not responsible, and conditional proposals. The contractor agrees to make its best effort to expend at least 20% of the total dollar amount of the Contract on Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), an entity with at least 51% ownership interest by a minority in business), and at least 5% of the Contract to a Women Business Enterprises (WBE), an entity with a least 51% ownership interest by a woman in business. Assurance of Compliance The successful bidder shall furnish an assurance of completion prior to the execution of any contract under this solicitation in the for of a performance and payment bond in a penal sum of 100 percent of the contract price.
