Renovation of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, San Diego, sealed bids for a lump-sum contract are invited for the following work: CNCB Elevator Modernization DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Modernization of one (1) hydraulic passenger elevator and one (1) hydraulic freight elevators. The scope includes addition of cooling to elevator room. Only prequalified bidders will be allowed to submit a Bid on this project. The following bidders have been prequalified to bid on this project: Urban Elevator service CA LLC 24 Hour Elevator, Inc. Otis Elevator Company Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Elevator/Escalator Division Estimated project duration is 350 calendar days. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, listed in the latest published State of California, Department of Insurance, list of Insurers Admitted to Transact Surety Insurance in This State The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: C-11: Elevator Contractor.
