DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Central Utility Plant (CUP) Expansion addresses the utility requirements for the new buildings at UC Davis Health's Sacramento campus. The upgrade and expansion are currently a baseline program of a +34,000 (gsf) new annex building and 9,000 (gsf) of renovations within the existing CUP, Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) Level-1 utility space, diesel generators, electrical rooms and administrative support space to facilitate campus operations. This project will support the California Tower and other projects with site and building utility infrastructure upgrades. Scopes will be both HCAI and Non-HCAI. Work in this bid package Roofing and Waterproofing for the Central Utility Plant Expansion Plant including Preconstruction, Design-Assist, and Construction Services. THE OVERALL TARGET COST OF THIS PROJECT IS $193,000,000 THE TARGET COST FOR THIS BID PACKAGE IS $1,000,000 Proposal Security (Bid Bond) in the amount of 10% of Target Cost of Bid Package shall accompany each proposal. In addition, the University is committed to promoting and increasing participation of small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) relating to all goods and services covered under the awarded agreement, subject to any and all applicable obligations under state and federal law, and University policies.
