Seeking experienced contractors to perform bridge painting, structural steel repair and deck drain downspout work on the Canadian side of the Whirlpool Rapids and Lewiston-Queenston Bridges For the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission. The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission seeks qualified contractors to perform spot painting, structural steel repairs and deck drain downspout extensions on the Canadian side of the Whirlpool Rapids and Lewiston-Queenston bridges. The work must be coordinated to maintain bridge operations at all times. All Contractors must be pre-qualified to submit tenders directly to the Commission; if your firm is not currently pre-qualified to complete work for the Commission and you wish to submit a tender for this project you must submit a completed prequalification form no later than October 17th, 2024; visit NiagaraFallsBridges.com, look under Services/Construction/Contractor Prequalification; follow instructions to submit a prequalification form. Once approved firms generally remain qualified to perform work for the Commission for a period of 3 years from the date of approval. It is anticipated that an Invitation to Tender for the project will be issued in mid-December 2024; firms pre-qualified to perform work for the Commission will receive a notification when the Invitation to Tender for Project is issued.
