Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation.
Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Project includes but is not limited to the installation of approximately 54,300 linear feet of closed-circuit television investigation and approximately 27,200 linear feet of cured in-place sanitary sewer pipe, point repairs as needed, miscellaneous rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes, and all other associated work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the plans and contract documents. supplying all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for completion of the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, City of Forest, NW Quadrant Bid Security in the Amount of 5% of the Bid Must Accompany Each Bid in Accordance With the Intructions to Bidders. Attorneys-in-fact Who Sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds Must File With Each Bond a Certified and Effective Dated Copy of Their Power of Attorney. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises Are Solicited to Bid on This Contract as Prime Contractors and Are Encouraged to Make Inquiries Regarding Potential Subcontracting Opportunities, Equipment, Material and/or Supply Needs. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed, and deposited with the City Clerk prior to the hour and date designated above. Bid Number 2024 - 02 should be marked in the lower left corner of the envelope. The CITY OF FOREST reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City, or to reject any or all bids. The Contract Time is One Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day thereafter
