East Greenwich Public School District invites qualified vendors interested to submit a sealed bid for: Double section gas convection oven. Stainless steel front, sides, top and legs. Independently operated stainless steel doors with double pane windows. Non-sag insulation applied to the top, rear, sides, bottom and doors. Porcelain enamel on steel oven interiors measures 29"w x 221/8"d x 20"h. 60 minute timer with audible alarm. Two interior oven lights per section. Five nickel plated oven racks per section measure 281/4" x 201/2". Eleven position nickel plated rack guides with positive rack stops. One 50,000 BTU/hr. burner per section. NSF, CSA Star, CSA Flame, ENERGY STAR(R) 100,000 total BTU/hr. Dimensions 70(h) x 40(w) x 42.25(d) Electronic spark igniters. Furnished with a two speed 1/2 H.P. oven blower-motor per section. Oven cool switch for rapid cool down. 120 volt, 60 Hz, 1 ph power supply required, 15.4 amps total. 6' cord and plug. 7.7 amps total draw per section. Gas manifold piping included with stacking kit to provide single point gas connection. 3/4QD HOSE- 3/4" x 4' long gas flex hose & quick disconnect with restraining device 2 Casters, set of (2) in lieu of standard legs. K-12 School Nutrition extended warranty beyond the 12-month Original Equipment Warranty. DELIVERY & SET IN PLACE INCLUDES receiving, inspecting, delivery and stack & set in place. All packing material and debris removed. All protective film removed. Old UNIT TO be disconnected. Old unit to be removed n/c on same day as delivery of new unit. Each bid submitted must contain the name of the bidder and the bid amount which will be recorded. The School Committee reserves the right to waive certain formalities or to reject any and all bids. An award is given in writing to the lowest responsive bid. A bid is deemed responsive when it. 1. Complies with the specifications. 2. Promises performance by time and date. 3. Project costs within budget. Any bids which do not conform to the aforementioned provisions are deemed not responsive to the bid invitation. The School Committee reserves the right not to consider those bids. After the bid is awarded, all documents pertaining to the winning bid will be available for public inspection. Corrections or withdrawals may be allowed only with respect to regulations issued by the School Committee or their agent. If all of the bids exceed the available funds, the School Committee may: 1. Resolicit bids under revised specifications, or. 2. Enter into competitive negotiations with the three (3) lowest and responsible and responsive bidders. A reasonable inquiry to determine the responsibility of a bidder or offer may be conducted. Failure to promptly supply information related to such an inquiry may be grounds for a finding of non-responsibility. Any such information supplied is confidential.
