The City of Martensville is currently seeking proposals for the supply and install of a sound system used for event music and announcements on the “Hockey Side” of the Martensville Sports Centre. 555 main street, Martensville, sk. The Hockey arena consists of a 200’ x 85’ ice sheet with seating and sound booth on one side, and players benches, timekeepers booth, and penalty boxes on the other. A site visit prior to submitting a proposal is recommended and can be arranged by email at dcrowe@martensville.ca. Only serious proposals from proponents with relevant experience will be entertained. Please include mention of past projects in request. The proposed sound systems primary use will be music and announcements during Hockey games and Figure Skating events. The proposals shall be for a complete and “turn key ready” system that is user friendly and simple to operate, and include built in controls to limit user access. The preference would be preset inputs for a microphone and phone or tablet with limited user volume control at user access points, with the rest of the hardware remote or in a locked cabinet.
