When a Contract is entered into, a Surety Bond satisfactory to the Village in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid shall be furnished. Each Proposal must contain the name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Cuyahoga County and the Village of Oakwood, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614-644-2239. The Board of Control shall consider the Bid and award the Contract at a meeting to be held at the Village Hall. The right is reserved to accept any bidder, to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the Village of Oakwood to do so.
