**As of April 7th, 2026, the project was awarded to Rector Excavating, with an awarded amount of $3,526,546.30** The Boone County Fiscal Court is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to perform construction services for the Boone County Water Expansion - Group 3.2 project. The engineering design for this project has been completed. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, restoration, and incidentals necessary to construct the waterline improvements in accordance with the County-provided construction plans, specifications, and bid documents. The project consists of installation of water mains, valves, hydrants, appurtenances, culverts, pavement restoration, driveway restoration, and associated improvements necessary to complete the work as shown in the construction documents. This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is intended to identify a qualified contractor to construct the project in accordance with all plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Question Deadline 03/06/2026 at 5:00 PM ET. online submission. All requests for clarifications, changes, exceptions, deviations to the terms and conditions set forth in this bid package must be submitted via the County's project "Q&A Tab" on the Boone County Vendor Portal. Question Response Deadline: March 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM Boone County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and to negotiate for the modifications of any bid or to accept that bid which is deemed the most desirable and advantageous from the standpoint of customer value and service and concept of operations, even though such bid may not, on its face, appear to be the lowest and best price. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after scheduled time of receipt of bids.
