Questions Due Date: Sep 26th 2024, 5:00 PM AKDT Scope of Work Description: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for roof replacement on a portion of the Station 6-2 Annex, located at 4568 S Knik Goose Bay Rd, Wasilla, AK 99654. The single pitch roof that is on the west end of the facility will be demoed of the existing metal roofing and the asphalt roofing material that was roofed over. Once the roof is demoed, inspect roof sheeting prior to installation of the new roofing materials. The replacement roof assembly will consist of installing ice and water shield for the first 5 feet from the eave and synthetic roofing underlayment over the remainder of the roof. Apply new fascia metal to match the existing metal wrapped facia, and new 24-gauge 1 inch snap lock metal roofing. Provide hidden fastener details at eaves, gable edges, and head wall transitions. Color to match existing roof material. The roof is approximately 1,500 square feet. The exact area will need to be confirmed by contractors at the site visit, which is scheduled at 4568 S Knik Goose Bay Rd. Wasilla, AK 99654 on September 25, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
