Site work and paving for a civil project in Wichita, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
TYPE OF WORK: The purpose of this project is to re-deck and widen Br. 43.930 NB & SB on I-35 in Sedgwick County. Work includes bridge rehabilitation, grading and surfacing, and all other work shown in the plans. PRE-QUALIFICATION. Bids will only be accepted by Contractors that are pre-qualified by the Kansas Department of Transportation. Facsimile bids will not be accepted. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of bid and made payable to the Kansas Turnpike Authority as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and give a performance bond as required if awarded the contract. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity therein, to determine which is the lowest responsible bid most suitable to the Authority.
