The work consists of the following: Conversion of the existing North Parker and Valley Road above ground vacuum prime type lift stations to submersible pump type lift stations, and improvements to the piping, structures, equipment, electrical, and the miscellaneous work required for completion of the project. An Owner's Contingency Allowance of $100,000 will be included within the Schedule of Values. Line Item 3 shall be bid at a lump sum of $100,000. Not doing so may result in disqualification. A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder or an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid for work shall be submitted with each proposal. The City of Olathe, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
