Summary: Clean all the HVAC systems in the main compound of Central Virginia Correctional Unit #13 located at 6900 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield, VA., 23832. The ducts in the main compound are located in the basement, first floor and on the roof. SCOPE OF WORK/DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS (SPECIFICATIONS) The Virginia Department of Corrections is seeking a DSBSD-certified vendor to clean all the HVAC systems in the main compound of Central Virginia Correctional Unit #13 located at 6900 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield, VA., 23832. The ducts in the main compound are located in the basement, first floor and on the roof. All components of the system to include, but not limited to: Fan Blower and housing Supply registers Return registers Supply Ducts Return Dust Condensate Drain Pan Drain Pail Access Door Panels Remove all supply and return register vents to clean and disinfect. The units should be fogged and disinfected included using a natural antimicrobial, disinfectant and deodorizing the work. Protect flooring and work areas while cleaning Replace all filters after cleaned Due to long runs of duct; access panels may need to be cut to facilitate the air duct cleaning process. If necessary, install access panels into duct Provide before and after photos of the cleaning. CLARIFICATION OF TERMS: If any prospective (bidder/offeror) has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, the prospective (bidder/offeror) should contact the buyer whose name appears on the face of the solicitation no later than five working days before the due date.
