Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Blue Springs, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Hidden Valley Park is a sports complex located at 6500 NW Valley View Dr. The park has multiple facilities throughout the park that are aging rapidly. The City of Blue Springs is accepting bids to reinstall all new plumbing and all new bathroom fixtures at the following restroom facilities: Soccer Complex, Football/Playground location, Baseball Complex, and two locations at the Softball Complex. Demolition of current pluming and fixtures will be removed by the City back to the main shut off at each building. Funding for this project is included in the Park Sales Tax program budget. All work covered by the contract documents shall be completed on an agreed upon date with the awarded contractor with a target date of not before January 1, 2025, to begin work and completed prior to March 15, 2025. The contractor selection will be based upon the best and the lowest bid. The selection of a contractor is the purpose of this solicitation. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of proposals, shall be directed to the Superintendent of Parks, Derek Mayden. It shall be understood, however, that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any "or equal" products be considered for approval prior to award of contract. Owner's Rights Reserved: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make award in the interest of the Owner. Hidden Valley is comprised of 5 separate locations throughout the park. Restroom facilities can be found at the Soccer Complex, Baseball Complex, Football/Playground and Shelter Complex, Small Softball Complex and Large Softball Complex. The City is looking to collect bids for each location taking the pluming back to the tap and shut off located inside the plumbing chase. The concessions will remain plumbed how they are currently with no new plumbing going inside the concessions. The Soccer complex is comprised of 2 urinals, 3 stalls, two sinks, and one drinking fountain. The fixtures should be replaced with porcelain fixtures with industry standard automatic flushers and push button faucets. Installation should include new carriers for plumbing fixtures, install new electric water heater, and replace the mop sink faucet. All plumbing should be insulated with fiberglass insulation. The Football/Playground complex is comprised of 2 urinals, 3 stalls, two sinks, and one drinking fountain. The fixtures should be replaced with porcelain fixtures with industry standard automatic flushers and push button faucets. Installation should include new carriers for plumbing, install new electric water heater, and replace the mop sink faucet. All plumbing should be insulated with fiberglass insulation. The Baseball complex is comprised of 2 urinals, 4 stalls, two sinks, and one drinking fountain. The fixtures should be replaced with porcelain fixtures with industry standard automatic flushers and push button faucets. Installation should include new carriers for plumbing fixtures, install new electric water heater, and replace the mop sink faucet. All plumbing should be insulated with fiberglass insulation. The Small Softball complex is comprised of 1 urinal, 5 stalls, two sinks, and one drinking fountain. The fixtures should be replaced with porcelain fixtures with industry standard automatic flushers and push button faucets. Installation should include new carriers for plumbing fixtures, install new electric water heater, and replace the mop sink faucet. Run a new hot and cold-water line to all the concession fixtures and insulate. All plumbing should be insulated with fiberglass insulation. The Large Softball complex is comprised of 2 urinal, 9 stalls, 3 sinks, and one drinking fountain. The fixtures should be replaced with porcelain fixtures with industry standard automatic flushers and push button faucets. This includes one family restroom. Installation should include new carriers for plumbing fixtures, install new electric water heater, and replace the mop sink faucet. All plumbing should be insulated with fiberglass insulation. The successful contractor will need to include cost of plumbing replacement plumbed for gravity draining. Also should include price of fixtures fully installed in each location and broken down on the bid sheet by location. All quotes should include labor, materials, and any and all costs involved in the project. If the project exceeds $50,000.00, payment and performance bonds are required. If the project exceeds $75,000.00, prevailing wage is required.
