Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Natchez, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
City of Natchez, Mississippi, will receive written sealed bids for the rehabilitation of Homochitto and Canal Street to include cold milling, asphalt pavement overlay, curb & gutter repair, traffic striping, and related improvements on public rights-of-way located within the City of Natchez. The Contract Time will be sixty (60) consecutive calendar days, with a projected project completion date of December 31, 2024. Liquidated damages will be $250.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Funding for this milling and overlay project is provided by the City of Natchez. Bid bond, signed, or countersigned by a Mississippi Resident Agent, with Power of Attorney attached or on file with the City, a Cashiers Check or Certified Check for five (5%) percent of bid, payable to CITY OF NATCHEZ, MISSISSIPPI, must accompany each proposal. The City of Natchez reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, to negotiate with the lowest and best bidder to reduce the bid price to come within the funds allocated for the work, to reduce the job in order to stay within available funding or as desirable in the discretion of the Board of Aldermen, and to accept bids by classes and/or groups, if applicable, all as set forth and in accordance with applicable Mississippi law and in the Instructions to Bidders.
