This project includes the Cleaning, Root Cutting, Grease and Sedimentation Removal and Pre and Post-CCTV of Combined and Sanitary Sewers. The work will be completed in the following participant municipalities: Borough of Emsworth, Borough of Heidelberg, Borough of Ingram, Borough of Jefferson Hills, and Borough of Whitehall. All contractors wishing to bid on this project must be pre-qualified by SHACOG and the participating municipalities. The required instructions will be included in the project specifications. A bid will not be accepted from any bidder that is not pre-qualified. . Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by SHACOG. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the bid, made payable to SHACOG. The proposals must be made to SHACOG, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days. No bidder may withdraw his proposal during the ninety (90) day period without forfeiting his bid guarantee. SHACOG reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
