Provide all interior, exterior, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical building demolition as indicated in contract documents including temporary wall removal of new addition. Including items to be salvaged and re-used for new construction. 2. Provide all temporary barriers and protection for temporary facilities as indicated in contract documents. 3. Remove unsuitable material not marked for salvage but might be uncovered (rotted wood, corroded metal, deteriorated masonry, etc.) 4. Provide and install bracing shoring of existing structure as indicated and as required. 5. Contractor shall notify company(s) of any demolition prior to commencing work. 6. Contractor shall provide any directional signage indicated exit, access and egress around demolition areas as required. 7. Conduct pre-installation meeting as required. 8. Saw cut and remove concrete slab for MEP contractors. All waste, excess materials and debris shall be removed from the site and legally disposed. 9. Removal of all ceiling tile and ceiling grid. 10. Remove and dispose of all debris from construction site. Provide all necessary dumpsters as necessary to complete scope of work. Maintain a safe and uncluttered environment. 11. Dispose recyclable materials in recycle bins provided by owner. 12. Contractor shall furnish manpower, materials, and equipment necessary as required by the project schedule. Including interim milestone dates, and to furnish additional crews, equipment, etc. and/or overtime to maintain the schedule if Contractor falls behind due to their own fault or due to inclement weather. 13. Contractor is responsible for field engineering, layout and field layout from benchmarks and base building control finished by the Construction Manager. Rough-In requirements are to be dimensioned off of column lines as shown on the contract documents. 14. Contractor shall include all remobilization operations required to complete the scope of this bid package. 15. Contractor shall coordinate all material deliveries with the Construction Manager and shall have a representative on site to receive all deliveries of materials under the scope of work of this bid package. 16. MEP contractors to disconnect and make safe existing mechanical equipment shown to be removed on interior and exterior of building. Demolition contractor to include demolition of all HVAC and Plumbing equipment, ductwork, piping, etc. in interior demolition areas. Special attention shall be paid to all demolition plans and specifications with respect to all mechanical work done in the demolition areas to include, but not limited to, removal/storage/re-installation of existing ductwork, removal/storage/re-installation of plumbing fixtures, piping, waste lines, diffusers, registers, grilles, and equipment that are located in walls and ceilings to be demolished and replacing and installing any required fire stopping within this work per code requirements. Existing mechanical fixtures, equipment, and wiring to remain in place shall be protected from dirt and damage during demolition activities by this contractor. 17. Provide removal and delivery of any materials noted as 'return to owner'. Owner has first right of refusal on any material or equipment.
