Bids received more than ninety six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened. Bids shall be made in accordance with the Notice to Bidders, the plans and specifications, and the bid forms, which are on file and available for public examination at the Office of the City Clerk for the City of Midwest City, care of the Economic Development Authority, in the Midwest City Municipal Complex at the address listed above. Bids filed with Office of the City Clerk for the City of Midwest City, care of the Economic Development Authority, shall be opened publicly and read aloud in the City Council Chambers at the time stated above or later. The Chairman and Trustees shall consider all bids prior to the award of the contract. The Economic Development Authority may consider award of the bid at 6:00 p.m. on December 10th, 2024 or subsequent Economic Development Authority Meeting to the lowest and best bidder meeting specifications. The Economic Development Authority may lay the same over to a subsequent meeting for comparison and computation. Provided standard bid bond or surety bid bond form or cashiers check in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid (cashiers checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders following the acceptance of the bid). The Midwest City Economic Development Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
