Annual Parks and Golf Tree Trimming/Tree Removal Project The work consists of furnishing of all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals, and expertise necessary for the following eight tree operations: Overstory Tree Pruning, Overstory Tree Pruning - Golf, Tree Removal, Tree Removal - Golf, Selective Branch Removal, Chipping, Trunk Removal, Site Clearing (Selective), Mulching (Selective), and Large-Scale Forestry Mulching (Optional). Question Deadline 09/26/2024 at 10:00 AM CT All questions concerning this project or those concerning bidding requirements should be directed to Tiffani Picco by writing to tpicco@napervilleparks.org. Questions will be received only. Requirements for Performance and Bid Bonds 1. A bid bond is not required for this project. 2. If a bid is accepted, the Contractor will be required to file a written substance abuse prevention program with the Owner for the prevention of substance abuse among its employees prior to the commencement of the work. Said program shall be available to the general public. Award of Contract It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in November. The Park District reserves the right to reject any non- responsive or non-responsible Bids or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Park District.
