Enders House Roof Rehabilitation. Question Deadline 10/01/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Contract term: 90 calendar days Method of Award is based on the lowest Total Cost. The work under this RFQ has been determined to be a public work pursuant to Article 8 (Construction) / 9 (Building Services in excess of $1,500) of the New York Labor Law which requires prevailing wages to be paid. A willful violation of such may result in civil penalties and debarment from public contracting in the State of New York. For this procurement, OPRHP requests that Good Faith Efforts are taken to include MWBE/SDVOB vendors where there is subcontracting availability. These efforts should be documented as, if asked, you must be able to produce a record of the actions taken to include MWBE/SDVOB vendors. Questions that are not answered in this RFQ or attachments can be answered after they are submitted with the RFI form (Attachment #7). This project consists of rehabilitating the roof of the Enders House in accordance with Attachment #1. In summary, this includes removal of the existing wood shingles down to the substrate, replacing 40% of the existing spaced roof decking which has rotted, adding a venting grid, installing new cedar shingles, replacement of a 3" section of fascia board, and adding sealant to step flashing above the entry porch. Note that the project includes the main roof and an entry porch roof. Interested bidders shall fill out the attached Request for Quote form (9 pages), scan it and email it to Lucas.Cain@parks.ny.gov before the due date and time.
