The scope of work involves the supply of all essential materials, equipment, transportation, and skilled labor for the purpose of removing, transporting and disposing of sanitary sewer sludge originating from the City of Union's wastewater treatment plant located at 671 S Hwy 47, Union, MO 63084. Any questions or clarifications concerning this Advertisement for Bid must be submitted via email to: J.D. Kelley, City Engineer, engineer@unionmissouri.gov. Each proposal shall, as a guarantee of good faith on the part of the Bidder, be accompanied by a Cashier's Check drawn on an acceptable Missouri Bank or Trust Company, or an acceptable Bid Bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid. The proposal guarantee shall be made payable without condition to: City of Union City Administrator 10 East Locust Street Union, MO 63084. The Contractor to whom the Work is awarded will be required by the Owner to furnish performance and payment Bonds to the Owner in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract so awarded. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
