Renovation of a municipal facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The following Work is included in this Contract 1. Summary of work a. The Work of this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment and plant, and performing all Work in accordance with these specifications and drawings, with exception of work that is expressly and specifically not included in the project. b. The project consists of one (1) contract with a scope of Work to provide Roof Rehabilitation. c. In general, Work of this project shall includes rehabilitation at the upper roof area. Work included in this Contract is further described below. 2. Rehabilitation Work: a. Work shall include, but not be limited to: 1) Preparation of upper roof area for rehabilitation. 2) Upper roof coating shall be applied over existing roof surfaces as indicated on the Drawings and as specified in these specifications. LRRT - DL&W Roof Rehabilitation. Question Deadline 10/07/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Technical or administrative questions must be submitted. Technical questions should be submitted via email to Foit Albert Associates, Michael R. Bray, AIA at mbray@azardzn.com. Administrative questions should be submitted via email to NFTA, Mr. Jorge Cueto, email: jorge.cueto@nfta.com. Contract term: 165 calendar days Location: DL&W Station, 164 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York 14203 The Contractor shall perform not less than 50% of the Work with its own forces. The MBE (Minority-Owned Business Enterprises), the WBE (Women-Owned Business Enterprises) and SDVOB (Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business) Goals are as follows: MBE 13%, WBE 17% and SDVOB 0%. Liquidated damages will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified as described in Technical Specification Section 01 11 00 "Summary of Work". {c:\a\nfta\invite} The time of completion for the project is 165 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The project consists of one (1) contract. Work shall include, but not be limited to: 1) Preparation of upper roof area for rehabilitation. 2) Upper roof coating shall be applied over existing roof surfaces as indicated on the Drawings and as specified in these specifications. BASE BID work shall include, but not be limited to: Bird Excrement Removal per specification 02 87 16.13. Roof Moisture Analysis, per specification 07 01 50.02. Selective Demolition of areas indicated on drawings, areas that tested for moisture presence and are required to be removed and replaced. Replacement and reconstruction of removed areas ahead of preparation for roof recoating per specification section 07 54 00 for Thermoplastic Membrane Roofing. Preparation for roof recoating per specification 07 01 50.16. 6.Roof Recoating as specified in 07 01 50.74 for Rehabilitation of Single Ply Roofing. The Work of this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, appliances, tools, equipment and plant, and performing all Work in accordance with these specifications and drawings, with exception of work that is expressly and specifically not included in the project. In general, Work of this project shall include rehabilitation at the upper roof area. Refer to the Project Manual and Contract Drawings for further information. Bid security must accompany each bid and, if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00, must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price. The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the bidding period.
