The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit and receive Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from consulting engineering firms that are highly qualified in water, wastewater and recycled water treatment, wastewater collections, water distribution, operations, regulatory compliance, permitting, optimization, and construction phase services. Introduction: The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit and receive Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from consulting engineering firms that are highly qualified in water, wastewater and recycled water treatment, wastewater collections, water distribution, operations, regulatory compliance, permitting, optimization, and construction phase services. The intent is to issue 5-year agreement(s) for up to $1,000,000 with each qualified firm. The City is under no obligation to issue more than a single contract, but may issue multiple contracts based on qualifications. The contract will be on a task order basis and no task orders are guaranteed. Task orders will be issued based on the estimated value of the work, complexity, schedule, qualifications, and previous involvement with the work. The City will make every effort to issue task orders to all pre-qualified firms in similar amounts over the life of the contract. January, 2025 Contracted work begins The period of performance anticipated for this solicitation shall be for a period of up to 5 years beginning January, 2025 or effective upon signature of an Agreement by both parties, through January, 2030 unless terminated earlier. After the first year, and each year thereafter, the City shall have the option to extend the term pursuant to the Agreement, upon mutually acceptable services, cost adjustments, and the City requirements.
