Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Shortdale, Manitoba. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 9,578-square-foot office development; 2,296-square-foot, six-room hospitality development; and 3,760-square-foot, seven-unit multi-residential development.
Scope items include but are not limited to: Construction of indoor and outdoor new capital asset for the delivery of a Child and Family Services on reserve. The structure and infrastructure exact areas will be confirmed during the design phase, but are currently proposed to be: Indoor space: Office Building - 9,578 square feet Indoor space: 6-Unit Hotel Itinerant Service Accommodation -2,296 square feet Indoor space: 4 Bedroom Transition Housing Accommodation -1,945 square feet Indoor space: 3 Bedroom Transition Housing Accommodation -1,815 square feet Outdoor storage space: Heated garage - 540 square feet Outdoor storage space: Unheated storage shed - 245 square feet Outdoor activity/cultural space: 3,000 square feet (for land-based learning, play and social gatherings). The goal of this project is to design and construct a new CFS Prevention Center for TTR, as well as two iterant/temporary housing units and a six-unit motel. The reserve is located 35 km east of Roblin, Manitoba. TIMELINE: An RFP for design has been issued by the owner. Construction will proceed when funding is received. Updates will be made upon award of contract.
