Site work and paving for a civil project in Aleppo, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The QUIET DELL ROAD DGLVR PROJECT includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace an existing culvert pipe on Quiet Dell Road with a 40-foot long 13-7 x 8-4 aluminum multi-plate horizontal ellipse pipe with end walls, install grade controls structures in the stream, install approximately 260 LF of aggregate under drain, construct approximately 80 LF of rip rap lined ditch, and place approximately 650 CY of fill to raise the existing road surface. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Aleppo Township. Aleppo Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the QUIET DELL ROAD DGLVR PROJECT. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. The project can also be found at https://www.harshmanllc.com/ under the bidding tab Bids may be held by Aleppo Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
