Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and 16,000-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility.
* Tender has been awarded to R. Hillman Construction at $657,158.65 plus applicable taxes. Building construction for a 100' x 160' x 18'8" heated storage building, shall be: Specifications - Minimum warranty of 45 years for exterior and interior metal: 5 ply 2"x 8" laminated poles @ 4'o.c. (treated at the bottom, minimum 7' deep) 2 ply engineered trusses @ 4' o.c. High tensile coloured metal walls, coloured metal roof 2"x 6" strapping on walls and 2" x 6" strapping on roof @ 2' o.c. 3-16'x 16' overhead door with R16 insulation, electric operators 3-22' x 16' overhead doors with R16 insulation, electric operators 4-4' insulated steel walk-in doors 2" x 8" treated at base Anything below ground or in contact with concrete must be treated Eaves troughing All hardware to complete. Interior: R28 wall, R50 ceiling Poly vapour barrier, 2" x 4" strapping on walls White metal lined interior walls and ceiling Any other engineering requirements deemed necessary should be listed separately.
