Ray Drive, Des Moines, Iowa, the City Engineer will reconvene the public opening of sealed bids for the following public improvement project: 1. 2025 Midblock Pedestrian Signal Improvements, Activity ID 042024005 One (1) additional sealed bid, that was inadvertently misplaced, was found after the original scheduled bid letting held on October 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The additional bid was date and time stamped in the City Clerk’s office prior to the time and place for filing of sealed bids. You are invited to attend the reconvening of this public meeting for the opening of the additional bid received. The improvement includes new High-Intensity Activated Cross Walk (HAWK) pedestrian signal, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) sidewalk, pavement markings, and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 665-274/308, located on Hull Avenue at Findley Elementary School, Hull Avenue at Cattell Elementary School, 31st Street at Callanan Middle School, and County Line Road at Studebaker Elementary School, and other locations directed by the City Engineer in Des Moines, Iowa.
