Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Department of Facilities and Maintenance Services (DFMS) is soliciting competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) to retain professional engineering services for Recertification of Storm Water Management Plans for two (2) MPS locations in the City of Milwaukee, WI. Storm Water Management Plans (SWMPs) were developed and approved for all of the sites during the year indicated in Attachment B. Per the City of Milwaukee, a written recertification must be submitted every five (5) years, prepared by a Professional Engineer. The recertification will verify that the drainage facility is operating as originally designed and is actively maintained as outlined in the SWMP and WDNR Post-Construction Technical Standards. This is the first time that MPS is recertifying their SWMPs and confirming BMPs are being maintained and are operating as originally designed. B. Visit each site and provide appropriate tests, observations, measurements and photos to fill out the following forms to be submitted for each site: 1. Visual Inspection form for Illicit Connections 2. Storm Water Management Plan Recertification Form C. Any site for which consultant identifies deficiencies, consultant shall provide a report to MPS within 3 days of each site visit to identify deficiencies found. MPS will attempt to correct the deficiency prior to submitting the final report. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
