2024-2025 Langhorne Borough Snow Removal & Salting Snow removal and salting of Borough streets and snow removal and salting of sidewalks and driveways at several locations in the Borough. The bid packet, containing the full bid proposal, specifcations, bid submission forms and sample contract are available for pick-up or electronic transmission. Bidders must agree that the successful bidder will not assign, sub-contract out or transfer any part of the work or the management of the work to independent contractors or day laborers, without the advance, written consent of the Borough. Preference may be given to a bidder who can provide both mowing and snow removal services. Proof of Worker's Compensation insurance for all employees; commercial liability insurance, with at least one million dollars ($1,000,000) coverage, covering bidder, their agents, independent contractors and day laborers, and naming the Borough as an additional insured; and, motor vehicle, trailer and equipment liability insurance, covering bidder, their agents, independent contractors and day laborers must be provided by the successful bidder ten (10) days after notifcation of award of bid. The Borough will coordinate the first pick up when needed. We are also interested in a quote for a second leaf pick up for some time around December if needed.
