Contact Information David Mulligan mulligandm@trinityra.org The Trinity River Authority of Texas (Authority) is soliciting bids from qualified utility contractors to perform various emergency repairs in the Dallas, Ellis, Denton and Tarrant counties and within the boundaries of the various authority project sites as needed. The work will include, but not limited to: o Repairs on Water Distribution lines o Pipeline repair and replacement 24" to 60" o Appurtenance repair and replacement o Right of way and site restoration o Repairs on Collection system pipelines: o Pipeline repair and replacement 12" to 104" o Manhole repair and replacement o Aerial crossing repair and replacement o Right of way restoration o Erosion Control of creek banks to protect pipelines. o Junction boxes and meter stations o Repairs to project sites (Treatment plant) o Process piping and related components o In-ground valve replacement o Pump and lift station repairs Site civil and restoration o Removal of debris o Clearing of debris from aerial crossings o Clean up of Sanitary Sewer Outflows. o Bypass Pumping Service o By pass pumping of sanitary sewer o Miscellaneous Work o Electrical o Demolition o Trucking o Concrete removal and replacement This work shall be directed by an AUTHORITY Representative restoring the failure to as-built condition or better. All site surface restoration will be directed by an AUTHORITY representative to a safe condition for land users. Specifications and plans will be supplied as needed. The AUTHORITY is expecting a response to be within a reasonable time, of two hours from contact before moving to another contractor. Contact may be in the form of email or telephone communication. Verbal project plan will be within four hours from notification, mobilization will occur within one hour following verbal project plan, and Winning Bidder will supply the AUTHORITY with a detailed project cost within 48 hours post initial contact. The Contractor shall not begin work under the terms of this Agreement until authorized in writing by an approved AUTHORITY representative. The completion time for all work under this Agreement shall be the project schedule contained in the Scope of Work. The parties shall work in good faith to complete the project in a timely manner under the circumstances. Response Time: The vendor shall list a telephone number that is answered 24 hours. Response time by vendor after receipt of a request from the Authority shall not exceed two hours. Authority reserves the right to contract with another vendor if no response is received within the stipulated hours. The term of the bid will be for one year with four yearly renewal options.
